An Odd Night

I went outside and laid on my deck to look at the moon and think. The weather was gorgeous, clear sky, little light pollution and I could see stars. The breeze was cool when it would come. My backyard is currently like a romantically neglected garden. The shadows of all the tall overgrown grass swayed in the moonlight under the bushes and shrubs. The statue my mom has in the back by the fence looks like an altar, especially with the dim solar lamps that look like candles in the shadows (I think her latent Catholicism expresses itself without her knowing). It was really nice. I read for a little while, but when I was about to go to sleep I caught some kind of second wind so I got online but I also had a little dance party. I was listening to the song "Here" by Lamb and I just couldn't keep myself from dancing. So with my head tethered to the computer speakers via headphones I pushed my chair out of the way and made a little area to dance. Hehe, it felt good.

I don't know what has possessed me tonight, but it's been nice. I would say I'm manic depressive, but the happy periods are calm and happy with odd bits of dancing. There's not enough Manic in my Depessive.

I've been listening to a shitload of Lamb lately. I mean a shitload, like constantly between the CDs and Mp3s. I thought I'd write down the lyrics of my most listened song.
